My university has two large cafés that serve hot, warm lunch everyday.But lunch is mostly an excuse to unwind after half a busy day, with my friends and classmates.I get refreshed with the morning walk or a little exercise and then prepare myself for the study with utmost sincerity. M., I play games for sometime without having any rigid rules. On the way to school I talk a great variety of topics with students coming from different parts of the town. The first period begins with English taught by our Headmaster. Our class begins after the prayer class and after the National Anthem is sung. In the classes we listen to the teachings of the teachers with rapt attention. In the recess hour I take the Tiffin given by my mother in a Tiffin box.

Armed with a steaming hot cup of coffee and with my phone in the other hand scrolling through the University app to find out where my first class of the morning is, I enter the hallowed lanes of my college.
It is the University of Twente, in the small town of Enschede to the east of the Netherlands.

Once done with the first class of the day, I walk at the speed of light to the next, with once again a new cup of coffee and a cupcake that I pick up form the kiosk on the way.
I believe food keeps you thinking straight, and it is a boon that my university has several kiosks scattered around the buildings.
I accept the guidance of my elder brother who has proficiency in English and mathematics as well. In the recess time also I talk of the topics taught in the classes with my friends and come to class at 2 P.
Having placed my books and notes in the proper place I wash my hands and face. As a matter of habit, I read for about two and half hours and take my supper at 9.30 P. There is a slight change in the routine on Sunday which is a holiday.
Okay, I’m probably not the typical college freshman. classes for only a minute before I climb down my ladder and get ready for the day.
In any case, here’s a day in the life of this college freshman: My mornings consist of three important things: dragging my roommate down to breakfast, getting to my morning classes even though I’m still half asleep until noon, and figuring out how cold it is outside before I leave my dorm.
